Privacy policy
Nounou Wellness is run by Nour, who decides how your information is used. To ask anything about it, email hello@nounouwellness.co.uk.
What I collect
When you book
- Your name, email address and phone number, so I can confirm your booking and call you if I need to check something.
- Your postcode and which of my two locations you would prefer, so I can choose where to see you.
- Your date of birth, an emergency contact and, if you give them, your GP's details.
- Your answers to the medical assessment, including the questions on spiritual afflictions.
- The name of whoever referred you, if you give it.
Simply reading this site collects nothing about you. There are no advertising or analytics trackers.
Why
What it is used for
Your contact details, postcode and booking are used to arrange and carry out your session. The legal basis is the contract between us.
Your medical and spiritual answers are special category data. I use them only to decide whether hijama is suitable for you and to carry out your session safely. The legal basis is your explicit consent, which you give when you book and can withdraw at any time.
Who sees it
Only me
Your phone number, date of birth, emergency contact, GP details and medical answers are encrypted before they are stored. Only I can read them. They are never sent by email.
These companies process data on my behalf to run the site:
- Cloudflare, which hosts the site and checks that bookings come from a person.
- Neon, which stores the booking database in London.
- Resend, which delivers booking emails and holds its records in the United States. It sees your name, email address and postcode, the service and time you booked, and any note I add to an email about your booking.
- postcodes.io, which looks up your postcode. It receives the postcode and nothing else.
I never sell or share your information for marketing.
How long
When it is deleted
- If your booking is declined or cancelled, your phone number, date of birth, emergency contact, medical answers and any note I wrote are deleted after 30 days. Your name, email address, postcode and the time you asked for stay in my booking records for 7 years, then are deleted.
- If your session takes place, your record is kept for 7 years, which is how long treatment records need to be available, and then deleted.
Your rights
Ask at any time
You can ask for a copy of your information, ask me to correct it, withdraw your consent, or ask me to delete it. Email hello@nounouwellness.co.uk and I will act within a month.
If you are unhappy with how your information has been handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
